On January 17th, the Minister of Education stated: “The number of people regularly selected increased by 20% compared to last year; In this way, 55.7% of those who took the PAES were selected, compared to 49.5% last year.” Most of the partner universities decided not to determine the final grade taking into account only the minimum enrollment grades (458 points), remembering that it is a measure of equity, which is partially true, but also has other aspects: many professions that were unable to fill vacancies (agronomy, forestry engineering or pedagogy) may now receive students who were previously rejected.
